She smiled all day. Seriously. All day. While getting ready, she had her freshly polished toes thrown over the arms of her chair, simply relaxed and taking everything in. At one point, she turned to her girls and said, “do I need to be less chill?” she couldn’t have been diva or, heaven forbid, Bridezilla, if she tried. She just smiled all day.

Even though the weather had been predicting thunderstorms all week, the sun was bright and warm on Courtney’s and Ethan’s wedding day, a perfect reflection of their own happiness. Even had it rained, nothing could have dampened their spirits. And when Courtney smiles, the world smiles with her. Ethan wanted nothing more than for his bride to be happy, and so his day was worry-free (other than forgetting to bring his tux to the church)! And his favorite part of the day? Revealing the location of the honeymoon, which he kept secret until the announcement at their reception. A week in paradise with his bride, and after that, forever.

Courtney and Ethan began the day where they would be wed, at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.

Meanwhile, Ed was hanging out with the guys while they got dressed and ready for the day’s festivities.

I can’t express how much I love the tender moment between a bride and groom that only the First Look provides.

These two just couldn’t stop looking at each other.

Courtney has the most bubbly, infectious personality!

Right after the ceremony, we all traveled to the Teton Trek in the Memphis Zoo, where the reception was held. Club Windward and Kathie Ray did an amazing job with all the details.

The toasts were tender and heartfelt.

Later that evening, Courtney and Ethan left amid a storm of bubbles and good wishes from friends and family.

Courtney and Ethan, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your day. It was an honor to witness the love you have for each other, and being around you both is pure joy. Congratulations!
