08 Mar angel + david: an oxford wedding.
Angel has so much style. She travels the world, searching markets for the latest fashion trends for her store. She knows clothes, shoes, and she knows how to accessorize. It’s her job. But her personal style is more than fashion decisions and what to wear. She is sophisticated, comfortable in her own skin, and she knows what she likes. She surrounds herself with things and people that make her happy. And no one makes her happier than David.
On her wedding day, Angel flitted from room to room, adding finishing touches, making sure everything was perfect, and putting her touch of style into everything. From the hints of art deco, to the bridesmaids’ furs and beautiful flowers, she designed the perfect day. But none of that really mattered, as long as David showed up. It was a beautiful winter day, full of love and personal details. And at the end of it, Angel chose the most important accessory. She chose David.
I always love when I get the privilege of shooting in Oxford. It’s a town full of character and history. Throw in a gorgeous lace dress, and I’m in heaven!
Angel got her shoes in Brazil. Yeah. Perfection.
Angel had chosen some of her jewelry years before meeting David. They were vintage pieces that she had always imagined herself wearing on her wedding day.
Meanwhile, Ed was with David as he prepared for the day.
Angel and David chose to see each other before the ceremony, and their First Look was so sweet! David knew Angel would look like a… well, angel (sorry, I had to!), but she surpassed even his expectations!
David gave Angel a string of pearls for her wrist, and Ed captured this sweet image of the two of them holding hands afterward.
Afterward, we traveled to the Oxford Square for portraits. The Square is full of photo opportunities! This was in front of one of Angel and David’s favorite restaurants.
It was cold outside, but Angel was willing to remove her coat so that she could work it for the camera!
Love.
Angel, you make a stunning bride!
I love it when I get a groom who loves to take pictures! David had no problems at all with the camera.
Loved the light in this alley!
The bridal party was amazing, and the girls all looked fantastic in their art deco dresses and fur!
Okay, and the guys cleaned up pretty good too!
The courthouse was the perfect backdrop.
Ed made sure to grab some detail shots…
One of my favorites!
Ed caught this shot of David watching his bride as I captured her coming down the isle.
Married!
The Oxford Powerhouse looked amazing with lights, flowers, and faux snow falling from the ceiling. Special thanks to Oxford Floral for the gorgeous flowers! Angel didn’t overlook anything, including this popcorn stand.
The cake topper was her grandmother’s from her wedding day. Loved that!
The First Dance…
At the end of the night, the happy couple left under a blizzard of snow thrown by family and friends.
Angel and David, thank you so much for the honor of capturing your beautiful day! Every detail was perfect, and it was an honor to be able to see you share your love for each other and your family. I know the honeymoon was amazing, and I can’t wait to hear all about it!

Here’s to great style. And sharing it with others. And fur and snow on your wedding day. Cheers!
