28 Jun Summer Vacation | Savannah
Right now, I’m sitting at a table on a deck underneath a canopy of trees dripping with Spanish Moss. I’m sipping on a morning mimosa, and the coastal breeze is blowing in my hair. Savannah is my favorite city on the planet, and I am in heaven at this very moment!
Last week, we spent the days in Nashville cheering for two of our kids while they danced for the National title. Each of them came away with first place, and we couldn’t be more proud! So this week, we’re celebrating with relaxation and sight seeing.
Yesterday, we took a walk through Forsyth Park, and it felt so good to be back in Savannah! The rain caught us off guard, but it didn’t dampen our spirits.
And, it’s never a trip to Savannah without marveling at the haunted houses. This city is full of lore and suspicion!
I’ll be checking in now and then (with plenty of photos, I’m sure)! In the meantime, be sure to follow our adventures on Instagram.
Here’s to a week full of family, fun, and adventure. Cheers!
