redneck roots.

Alex and I spent our birthday weekend in the mountains with family, extended family, and some good friends. My brother proposed this idea of riding 4-wheelers through the mountains on trails specifically for ATVs, and I thought he was crazy. Then the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea. Why hike when you can ride??

So we did. We had an awesome weekend of no internet, no cell service, and plenty of nature. We covered more ground in one day than we ever could have on foot. We saw rivers, creeks, waterfalls, trees, deer, and amazing vistas.

It rained a good bit of the time we were there, so I decided to leave my “real” camera in the cabin. But thanks to my awesome Lifeproof case, I had plenty of iPhone photos! I’m still posting a lot of them to Instagram, so be sure to follow me there. I’m amy_hutchinson. And I’ll update here with the highlights in another post.

Here we are (I rode behind Ed and Alex after this photo). 6 ATVs. 15 people. 1 mountain. Countless trails. Endless fun.

The perfect gift for an 8-year old boy? 3 days of 4-wheeler riding!

So here’s to brothers who know best. And getting in touch with your redneck roots. And Lifeproof. Cheers!

I love your picture on the mountains with the trees behind. Can I please use this photo on a website I’m creating? I’m really trying to capture how much fun atvs are and this picture does exactly that! Please let me know. I would be forever greatful.
