my honey.

After years of having my iPhone, or even a cell phone at all for that matter, I finally caved. I renamed Ed Hutchinson in my contact list to My Honey. I am one of those people who, when possible, have to have the first AND last name fields correctly filled out. So he’s always been Ed Hutchinson. And my mom is Mom Tiftickjian (we’re Armenian), not to be confused with Mom Hutchinson.

Then it was pointed out to me (by daughter¬†Helen Hutchinson), that My Honey still has a first and a last name. My being the first name, and Honey being the last. So I’m good with it. Let’s also note that said daughter has also been renamed. To My Favorite Daughter. By her own doing. I’m not sure how she got three words into two fields. I’m boggled.

But now my text messages are so much more fun. For example:

Ed's thank you text

Let’s also not let it go unnoticed that I have the most wonderful hubby. My favorite text message ever. Go ahead, be jealous. We frolic too, but that’s a whole other post.

Here’s to renaming your loved ones. And first and last names. And Fridays that are made even more wonderful by wonderful husbands. Cheers!

Great text conversation. Btw, your screenshot is suspiciously tall. Trying to illicit iPhone envy?
