17 Dec heavy heart.

I know I am only one of millions who suffered a broken heart on Friday. And there isn’t anything I can possibly say to comfort the citizens of Newtown, Connecticut over the loss of the innocent, tiny, young lives at Sandy Hook Elementary. I only know that I never wanted my children home from school so badly. I never thought I would count myself lucky just to be able to watch them climb off the bus.

I know I am only one of millions who held my children a little closer and a little tighter.

Our prayers and thoughts and hearts are with the families of Newtown. May you find some sort of comfort during what is supposed to be a time of joy and peace.
