12 Dec Lori + Kenny: Promised | a Cedar Hill Farm Engagement

When Lori and Kenny met for the first time, they were both at the same birthday party, but with other dates. They introduced themselves and chatted for a bit, then went their separate ways. But later, Kenny didn’t forget Lori. The next time he needed a date, she immediately popped into his head. He messaged her on Facebook, and they began chatting. Lucky for Kenny, Lori didn’t forget him either. It wasn’t long before they were each other’s permanent dates.

A year later, Kenny asked Lori to be his wife, and she happily agreed. They just bought a house together out in the country, where they are loving life and planning their wedding. It was only natural that they wanted their engagement photos outside, in the countryside, to reflect who they are as a couple. We met them at Cedar Hill Farm on a very cold day, but they were champs and rocked the nearly freezing temperatures!

Lori was actually a bridesmaid in one of my previous weddings. I just love it when I get to work with a bridesmaid who is now a bride! She is going to make one stunning bride. We had so much fun wandering around farm, taking advantage of the beautiful property.

It may have been cold, but the light was so perfect on this day!

There were so many great places to shoot, and Kenny had no problem keeping Lori warm!

Lori and Kenny have my most-requested date so far for next year. I’m so glad it was them who booked it!

Kenny knows how to work the camera too! I can see why Lori likes him so much. Also, I just loved Lori’s hair!

Fall is always a gorgeous time for photos! I loved all the leaves in this lane, with the barn in the background.

Lori was a rockstar, and changed into this tiny little dress for sunset. The temperature was down to about 28 degrees at this point, but she braved the weather for the photos! I love her for that, and these sunset photos could not be any more gorgeous!

Lori and Kenny, thank you so much for hanging out with us on this cold day! I think the photos were worth it 😉 We loved getting to know you both better, and we’re so excited for the wedding next year!
