Ian isn't unlike your average Senior guy. He's quiet around adults, but energetic and boisterous around friends. He's athletic, keeping himself busy and fit on the soccer field, where he plays for his high school team. In his spare time, he can usually be found in front of his Xbox. He prefers comfortable, casual clothes, but has a natural style when he has to dress up. He's not a fan of forcing smiles in front of the camera. So, when his mom wants Senior photos, he's already out of his element!

I'm on a mission. I'm on a mission to teach young ladies all about self love. That every girl is beautiful, no matter their size, shape, color, or age. That you only get this one body in this one life. To make it the best it can be, and to treat it with the respect it deserves. That self love doesn't only mean appreciating your own body, your own face, your own feelings, but caring for those of your peers as well. I'm on a mission to not only make young ladies look natural and beautiful, but to feel beautiful!

I never thought a teenage girl, standing at the edge of Greers Ferry Lake with her thumbs hooked in her pockets, would be the one teaching me all about "flex." And I'm not talking about showing off your muscles. I'm talking about the angle of tilt that your off-road vehicle makes when it's climbing over large rocks. I'm sure there's a lot more technical words that go along with that, but basically, the more it looks like it's going to fall over, the better! Keep scrolling to see exactly what I'm talking about.

I can't believe that May is going to be here in a few short weeks! May is always a big month for our #ahpseniors. Today, I thought I would give all the Seniors a break from school to start thinking about something fun instead: graduation! There are a ton of things that have to be done before the big day. The first thing to check off the list is to send out your graduation invitations and announcements! Keep scrolling for some great ideas!

Okay, truth time. A Senior guy is not as comfortable in front of the camera as girls are. They don't usually spend as much time taking selfies (unless their girlfriends make them!). So they're just not as used to the lens as the girls. Until now. Now we have to say a typical Senior guy is not as comfortable in front of the camera as girls are! Cody is not a typical Senior guy. Cody was amazing during his session! He was relaxed, joked around with us, and even gave us a few creative ideas. We're so excited to share a few snippets from his Senior session today!

It is officially Spring here in the South! The weather went from freezing to hot (we only seem to get two temperature settings around here!), and the flowers are in full bloom! We’re about a month away from high school graduation, but our Senior sessions are still going strong. We’re so excited to share this one with you today!

When we do Senior portraits, it's usually a parent of the Senior who contacts us. With Trista, this wasn't the case. She contacted us herself, so we were super honored to do her session. We love love love it when a Senior is invested in her own photos! Her session was right at the end of the year last year, before the last of the leaves fell from the trees. The Fall color was amazing, making the golds, greens, and even a few reds just pop! Combined with Trista's beautiful style, it made for perfect portraits!
