They can wrap themselves in their own little bubble and tune out the whole world, even while the whole world is watching them. While they are in their bubble, they are the only two people who matter. The “I love you’s” and meaningful glances that passed between them meant even more, because they were the only ones in the bubble. She's a high school teacher (she taught our daughter, Helen!), and every year, she gets even more excited about the end of the school year than the kids! But this year, she packed her last bag a little more quickly than usual, and hurried out the door with a bit more hustle than the year before. This year, she had even more to look forward to. As soon as school was out, she was marrying her best friend! When she returns to school in the Fall, she will be a Mrs. instead of a Miss. Nothing could dampen her end-of-year spirits! He cried big, unabashed, joyful tears that he was not ashamed to have streaming down his face. When he first turned around and got his first glimpse of her, he broke down, sobbed into her shoulder, and then looked at her and said, "you are just as beautiful as I knew you would be." She stroked his face and hugged him hard. Together, they held each other and promised to love each other forever, before the vows were even said. They set the tone for their colorful day - a day full of love, promises, faith, and beauty. Insane beauty! Wendy made the loveliest bride, and David's devotion to her was just as delightful to witness. What a way to start our 2016 wedding season!
